Caregiver Coaching
Caregiver coaching is a collaborative process. It is designed to empower caregivers by identifying their strengths, improving existing skills, developing new skills, and teaching them how to apply effective strategies in current and future situations.
Our current caregiver coaching programs are best suited to provide support for children ages 18 months to 6 years old.

The focus of this coaching program is to help caregivers of young children who show signs of social communication delays, including children who may have developmental delays or those who may be suspected or diagnosed with autism. The program is based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and uses coaching to teach parents how to promote their child's communication development in natural settings such as the home and in the community.
This program contains 24 sessions. Each session lasts 60-90 minutes. The program can be completed in 12 weeks (2 home visits per week) or 24 weeks (1 home visit per week).
Additional visits may be added to the coaching program for additional cost, depending on the caregiver's needs. Examples of situations that may require additional visits include addressing challenging behavior, scheduling follow-up sessions after program completion, or incorporating extra practice time to ensure continued progress.

The 12-session package is a modified version of the 24-session package. As a result, a smaller number of techniques are taught in this version. It is also important to note that there will be less time to discuss topics and behaviors that fall outside of the program’s core focus.
